JULIE MURRAY, BOARD PRESIDENT

Moonridge Group Philanthropy Advisors

​Julie Murray is one of Nevada’s foremost social entrepreneurs. Throughout her two decades in public life, she has founded and advised a range of organizations that seek to improve the quality of life for those at risk by supporting hunger relief, educational outreach, public safety, and corporate philanthropy. Seeing a greater need for strategic philanthropy in Southern Nevada, she founded Moonridge Group in 2011. Her leadership skills have helped create strong coalitions, bringing together stakeholders, elected officials and philanthropists to solve our most pressing social problems.

ANGELA EDGEWORTH, BOARD SECRETARY

Pediped Footwear, Co-Founder

Angela Edgeworth founded pediped footwear in 2004 when she could not find a shoe which was both stylish and good for her newborn daughter’s developing feet. In their first year of operations, they acquired over 350 accounts and the business expanded from there. In 2008, Angela was named the “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Mothers in Business Network. Under Angela’s vision, pediped has become one of the largest and fastest growing children’s shoe brands in the country, winning more than 15 industry awards for its product design and quality.  Angela and her business partners started the pediped foundation in January 2011 to help enhance the lives of children. To date, these efforts have given more than $2,900,000 in cash and product donations to deserving children.

​Angela graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an honors degree in business administration.

Marlo Vandemore, Board Treasurer

Bonotel Exclusive Travel, CFO

When Marlo Vandemore joined Bonotel in 2014, she brought with her a wealth of financial knowledge and experience. Mrs. Vandemore implemented Netsuite, an ERP system, to bring greater visibility and control to Bonotel's finances. She transitioned the organization from a cash to an accrual based accounting paradigm. She also brought in talent to bolster the organization's analytical capabilities; implemented cost control measures; updated accounting policies; and defined new commission structures for the sales team.

Marlo holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern California.

Punam Mathur, Board Member

Elaine P. Wynn & Family Foundation, Executive Director

Currently, Mathur operates her own business as a speaker, trainer and writer. She also serves as Executive Director of the Elaine P. Wynn & Family Foundation.

​

Formally, she was an officer of NV Energy, Inc. following 13 years in the gaming industry, most recently serving as an officer and senior vice president, corporate diversity and community affairs, for MGM MIRAGE, now MGM Resorts Int’l. During her tenure, MGM MIRAGE received numerous awards in her areas of responsibility, including being ranked among the "Top 50 Companies for Diversity" by DiversityInc magazine, one of the "Top Corporations in the U.S." for multicultural businesses by DiversityBusiness.com, and as one of the “Most Admired Companies in America” by Fortune magazine. Additionally, under her leadership the Company’s philanthropy program, including its centerpiece employee-directed foundation, set new standards for strategic philanthropy and employee engagement within the gaming industry.
